Recently I got the chance to finally eat at Liberty Oak with a friend. A place I have been wanting to try for quite some time. The food was good. Very good. Their list of sandwiches is quite impressive as well.
While none of that is portrayed in these photos, I did have the chance afterwards to wander around down town and take some pics.
Here are a few. Ill post more of them tomorrow.

I dont know why, but I really like these images. (Especially that last one. The light coming through my small bathroom window was perfect.) They are nothing special, but for some reason they stand out, and dont look half bad together.
Lacking in my post lately, sorry. It has been a whirl wind of a week, with late nights and early mornings. Things should start to slow down.
Every thing seems really good lately. Being busy I think helps.
Hope to get back to taking photos soon.
Cheers-

Its been a crazy week, and its gonna be just as busy the next.
It is still super fall around here and I really like the way it looks. I haven’t had much time with my camera so here are a few images from right outside.
See you back here sometime next week.

Its been a whirl wind of a week. No time for anything but work. It seems very cold, extra autumn, and very holiday lately. I think these shots depict that well. I like the white with the hints of colors.
The sun sets so early now, ( I still have not adjusted) and around 5pm, the sun sure is bright. These were taken out near Lake Janet.
Hoping all the work will slow down soon.
enjoy—

I dont have much today. An old photo mixed with a new photo. However I really like the similar tones.
Hoping to have more photos later this week.

Busy week ahead.

In the spirt of Halloween and Autumn, here are some eerie shots, as well as some taken for their great fall colors.
Have an awesome Halloween.
Im going out of town this weekend. Back here Monday to show some pictures from the trip.

I dont have much to say about these images. They are the last few favorites from my trip. The curves and the small round details on each tie them all together. The first one is my favorite. I would love to know what some of theses buildings look liked when they first opened.
Thank you all for your nice comments and visits lately.
Enjoy.

A few more favorite photos from the windy city… There is such a vintage-glow-like feel through out the city. The gold in these shots really ties them all together…
Will share the last of the Chicago images tomorrow…
Also, a special shout out to Jen over at Nectar and Light…Thank you for your kind words!
Have a good Wednesday.

Im fortunate to live in a great neighborhood. The homes have so much character. Shown here are a few images from a morning walk with Riley.
cheers.

Sometimes I am really surprised at the quality of photos taken on my Blackberry. Often times they come out faded or blurry. Here are some of the favorites I found in my phone.
I really like these 4 images together.
Happy Monday.

Had a great weekend with friends. We hung out, carved pumpkins, ate good food and drank cold beer.
Shown here is Smith Street Diner. An awesome breakfast joint downtown. They serve the best pancakes… crispy on the edges with a syrupy sweetness cooked right in. Seriously the best. It was a great way to wrap up the weekend. It was also a nice surprise to see Suzanne there, which reminds me… Back to the grind tomorrow.

Here are a few more images from the apple picking. They are not very autumn or apple like so I kept them for a separate post.
The last image was the orchard owners dog. Some how I captured the light and the tongue. It was a nice surprise when I reviewed the pictures.
Looking forward to a fun weekend with friends I dont get to see nearly enough. One thing is for sure, the food we eat will include apples.
